RRB photobooks
RRB Photobooks describes itself as a publisher and bookseller based in Bristol, specialising in British documentary photography. It runs a highly selective, fully funded independent publishing programme that takes on a small number of projects each year, in the ethos of books that are independently published and beautifully designed, and its first book appeared in 2015. The house also stocks, distributes and fulfils orders for small publishers and offers book design and production, so it works as a small ecosystem for independent photobooks, with a self-publisher spotlight on its shop. Its founder, Rudi Thoemmes, has retired from management, and the house is run by Jess and Josie.
