Seipersei

Siena, Italy · since 2011

Seipersei was born in Siena in 2011, when Stefano Vigni published his first photobook, 20000km, as a self-publisher, and it has kept the self-publisher's scale: an independent Italian house in which Vigni and Chiara Narcisi work side by side. Its catalogue covers photography, music and art, and it includes an essay series on contemporary photography, books on independent photobook publishing in Italy and on artificial intelligence and photography, and books that introduce children to the world of images. It is available through the main online channels, museum bookshops and independent bookshops.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
