Photography is a perfect pretext for giving space, body and legitimacy to our curiosity. It is curiosity, in fact, that is the photographer's fuel; without this insatiable desire to enter and look, he would be only an explorer with his Pillars of Hercules at the distance of his own nose. For some years the author has been writing his photographic thoughts on a national newspaper: he “switches on” without a fixed regular cadence and in full freedom, precisely when a piece of news, an event, a protagonist or something else pertaining to the world of photography and the image arouses reflections and questions in him. This volume now gathers and collects a wide selection of them for a reading with different modes and times, respecting the rule of the absence of rules.
