TBW Books
TBW Books describes itself as an award-winning independent photography publishing house, founded in Oakland, California, in 2006 by Paul Schiek, who is its creative director. It publishes books by some of the world's most renowned photographers, and in 2023 it launched two sister ventures: Workshop de Allende, an artist retreat in Mexico, and Slightly Unseen, an online platform for rare and out-of-print art books. In 2024 it began a partnership with the Miner Anderson Family Foundation, aimed at publishing underrepresented artists, and it keeps a Portfolio Series.
