Prestel
Prestel was founded in Germany in 1924 and has its headquarters in Munich, with offices in New York and London, and it is a member of the Random House publishing group, itself part of Penguin Random House. It describes itself as a leading publisher in art, architecture, photography and design, and it also publishes pop culture, fashion, exhibition catalogues and fiction and non-fiction for children. Its photography books are therefore one part of a large illustrated-book programme.
