Barbara Probst's picture series and tableaux called “Exposures” consist of up to fourteen individual images that capture the same moment multi-perspectivally. This allows the viewer to grasp the same moment from different perspectives without having to move, a visual paradox. This book shows, for the first time, recent, largely unpublished works from areas closer to classical than to conceptual photography: street, fashion, nude and still life. In particular the fashion images, made in recent years as commissions, have appeared in international magazines.
