Ren Hang's first US monograph, photographs made in February 2014 during his first visit to New York City. Casual snapshots of friends in the parks, cafés, streets and apartments of Brooklyn and Manhattan are blended with the stylized nudes he is known for. Working far from the censorship of China, Hang brings a relaxed, playful energy and an abundant creativity to pictures full of discovery and joy.
