Photographs taken by Ren Hang in Greece in April 2015 during the Occupy Atopos artist residency. Casual snapshots of friends across Athens and Attica — the beach, woods, cliffs, streets and apartments — alongside his stylized nudes. Away from the censorship of his native China, Hang works with a relaxed, playful energy, his humour reflected in the composition and vivid colour, in pictures imbued with a sense of discovery and joy.
