A newly edited and expanded edition of Joji Hashiguchi's 1982 classic. Armed with a camera, the photographer followed displaced, disaffected youths who had fled homes and schools for the streets of Liverpool, London, Nuremberg, West Berlin, New York and Tokyo. The duotone pictures portray an America exhausted by Vietnam, Thatcher's England, Cold-War West Berlin and a hardening Japan, capturing street youth in an unguarded, intimate state. With an essay by Yoshitomo Nara.
