A quiet photobook that seeks beauty in the ordinary. Six years before making it, Kyoko Yokouchi moved from central Tokyo to Katsuura, a city in Chiba Prefecture that in ancient times was part of an area called Kazusa, wanting time, space and a natural environment. The blessings of nature there were far beyond her expectations, and with a camera in hand she began to photograph. Although only two hours outside Tokyo, the area seems very different to her; since the scenery may one day become ordinary with the passing of time, she decided to present it in a photobook before that moment came.
