This book is a poetic wandering through wooded landscapes, naked bodies within a bedroom, calm riverbeds or snow-covered landscapes evoking bodies, a work of great sensitivity and sensuality bringing landscape and naked body into communion. Lady Land is an imaginary country traversed by a photographer, a solitary, melancholic wanderer, a country, a body, one no longer quite knows, feminine, masculine, or both at once, made of earth, grass, water and scent, standing trees marking the flowing ground and the mist rising on a winter morning, a winter's tale.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
