The volume offers a retrospective through a hundred and thirty-six monochrome frames, chosen from those that established Erwitt (born 1928) as one of the best-known figures of the last century.

Invited by Robert Capa to join Magnum, of which he has been a member since 1953, he managed to stand out with a very personal manner given by a sharp, at times comic irony, with which he was able to tell the human race.
