The meeting between Lisetta Carmi and the master Babaji marks the beginning of her third life. On his instruction she founded an ashram at Cisternino, in Puglia, in 1979, recognised by the Italian state as a foundation. Over the nineteen years of its activity Carmi, as Janki Rani, gave herself to spreading his teaching, which drew a great number of people from every part of the world.
