About the City Diaries: in his globe-spanning long-term project, planned for 50 volumes and begun in 2013, Peter Bialobrzeski poses the question whether the image of a city, formed from prejudices, the found and the media-conveyed, can be translated into real images. His interest lies in the cultural differences visible in the cityscape, asking what has already been overlaid by increasing globalisation, or what still remains visible.
