The photo-theorist, professor, lecturer, school founder and author Manfred Schmalriede (*Oldenburg 1937), who died in autumn 2023, left an extensive collection of writings and lectures that he wrote in connection with teaching, for magazines, exhibitions and book projects. During his lifetime, however, a book never appeared.
