Three times Jörg Brüggemann travelled to Chile and South America. On one of the journeys he drove several thousand kilometres through the continent, capturing landscapes and encounters in his pictures. The impulse came from a dream in which he met his deceased mother. On another he photographed political unrest and demonstrations in Valparaíso. The three journeys, presented in three chapters, are in their visual language far more dream and sensation journeys, perhaps also a search for himself, than documentary pictures of places and people.
