The 21 racing bikes depicted, from the Heinrich collection, were exhibited at Hartmann Projects in the Galerienhaus Stuttgart. The collector Karl Heinrich was advised over many years by the “bike-ologist” Roland Wolbold, who curated the exhibition together with the collector. The 21 bikes, from Alan to Tommasini (1963 to 2004), were selected from the considerably larger collection on account of their Italian origin, beauty, finesse of form and technical equipment.
