Time passes and fades out in noise, but fragments of time rest in layers of firm soil under cold feet. While her first book, soundless river (2013), pictured her birthplace in Tohoku, Haruka Fujita here focuses on the snowy landscapes of anonymous places that have fascinated her and that she has photographed over the past ten years. Although pictured as anonymous, the landscapes may recall your own attached places from memory.

Yoshihisa Tanaka's book design, entirely in white, enhances the pleasure of reading the photobook and of losing yourself in the beautiful snowy sceneries, as if wandering and being enveloped in the snow.
