With Mémoire vive, Arnaud Claass publishes his latest colour ensemble, produced between 2001 and 2004. His gaze falls on a wide variety of motifs: places and objects of the contemporary world and fragments of nature made solemn by their very obviousness. For the first time the author lets his images and his texts appear in the same volume, in equal measure, casting a new light on his double activity of description and meditation, visual and verbal.
