With this new book, Arnaud Claass returns to the form of brief collected texts, notes describing his tireless exercise of visual attention as photographer at work, walker in nature or in the street, trying to clarify the conditions of his own experience, returning to photographic works first and foremost but also pictorial, cinematic, video and new-technology pieces seen and reseen in galleries, museums, on the page or on screen, addressing not only questions of art but photography's centrality as a way of considering the world and as an object of our own consideration.
