The volume was conceived as a continuation and above all an enlargement of the exhibition “Letizia Battaglia. Senza fine”, held in Rome at the Terme di Caracalla until 5 November 2023: a new project that brings together iconic images and lesser known ones to build a route without themes or chronology across the fifty years (1971-2020) of Letizia Battaglia's photographic work. The editors, Paolo Falcone and Sabrina Pisu, gather here a far larger number of pictures than those on show, giving back the polyphony of a body of work in which Palermo, violence, women and daily life are inseparable.
