The first monograph devoted to the work of Paolo Ventura (born 1968). Established in the field of art practice, Ventura has offered a singular and wholly original reading of staged work, a form in which the final picture is the product of a creative process that in his case involves the preparation of sets and above all of figures made by hand: these, together with real people among whom the artist himself appears, populate his scenes.
