Paolo Monti (1908-1981) was the most important Italian maker of his generation, a master and a point of reference for figures such as Gianni Berengo Gardin, Cesare Colombo and Fulvio Roiter.
Alongside his well-known campaigns recording architecture and cities and his series of portraits of artists and of his niece Meme, there are many unpublished materials presented critically here for the first time, following the scientific study and cataloguing of his archive.
