Cesare Colombo (1935-2016) was among the leading figures of Italian visual culture. Moved by an authentic civic passion, he was interested above all in Milan, observed for more than half a century in its changes and in the events, some of them tragic, that marked its history in the sixties and seventies.

He also devoted himself to industrial and architectural work and collaborated with many magazines, among them Domus and Abitare, alongside important graphic designers.
