"This series was born from the memory of the few summers I spent in holiday camp as a teenager. During those holidays I always had the feeling of living strong, rare and precious moments. The camp was a sort of parenthesis in the rest of my life. Nobody knew me, so I could 'play the role' I wanted. I felt cut off from the rest of the world for two or three weeks. Time, suspended, and space, enclosed, took on another dimension. Every day counted." M.P. By re-reading her memory, Marion Poussier involves us in the complex world of adolescence. She moves away from the upheavals these young people go through, jostled and knocked about by our societies, and proceeds by cutting out within the holiday camps, her field of investigation. In this hollow space she positions her point of view. In front of her, the characters of her choice move silently in this setting where gestures tinted with sugary tones are whispered. This evanescence of tender and melancholic moments evokes at once the reflection of our societies and the mirror of our childhood memories. Yann Le Goff
