Souvenirs du paradis terrestre is the outcome of a voluntary experiment in rediscovering the world around us. By combining words and photographs, Fanny Baxter and Marion Lefebvre composed each souvenir in the form of a vertical triptych made of three distinct elements. Each of these elements belongs to a family developed independently: the Saints X (portraits of individuals, badged, photographed on the spur of the moment, at random in the streets), the relics (images of everyday objects and territories, sanctified by a sticker) and the annonce-iations (a collection of small ads gathered over the course of encounters).
