His work is "bricological"; his creations, graphic poem-rebuses and wild machine-sculptures with improbable yet mastered mechanisms, stage the process of elaborating his ideas and guide the visitor, with humour, through the convolutions of the artist's thought. The work can be read on two levels: beyond a first narrative encounter with the piece and its moving creative mechanisms, the sculptures and drawings also propose another vision, built according to how the pieces are installed in space, questions of line and surface, rhythm and movement, and finally context, adding one further dimension that can still tip our perception of the work.
