"Here I am arriving again at the station in Le Havre. I don't know why, but every time I arrive it strikes me how much I like it: a gust of air sweeping away time, an atmosphere as soon as you drive along the avenue toward the sea, the big ships you glimpse, the architecture so original, and above all the light, that shifting, deeply poetic light of wind that chases grey clouds and brings sudden torrential showers before a bright sun breaks through again." This new body of work follows an invitation from the Musée d'art moderne André Malraux, after several residency stays spent roaming the city.
