Jan Kopp is an artist gifted at using a wide range of media, exploiting the best of each one's properties, working the ground of polymorphy and polysemy. This book journeys through several of his realisations, including an ephemeral, proliferating structure built from dried bread sticks, a recycled, ecological material, and a monumental installation of eleven suspended Foucault pendulums whose long-observed oscillation reveals the effects of the Earth's rotation, each sphere hanging from a steel wire above a base scattered with glass marbles.
