In photography we think we move very fast, especially in snapshot style, shot by instinct the moment they are "seen", sometimes faster than we realise; swallows are always fascinating for their incredible agility, darting at speed without ever colliding. Shooting mostly at a thousandth of a second, indifferent to the sacrosanct depth of field, the photographer turns his stays in Andalusia into a game of who is faster, the swallows or himself, the ultimate challenge being the true test of the instant, the meeting of two agilities.
