Tazio Secchiaroli was born in 1925 near Rome; from 1960 he devoted himself to reportage on film sets, often at Cinecittà, rubbing shoulders with Italian directors and above all Federico Fellini, one of his favourites, with whom he built a great complicity - for twenty years he was Sophia Loren's photographer of choice and a defining figure of Cinecittà's golden age.
