Bruno Delamain, photographer of the great building projects of the late twentieth century - the Cathedral of Evry, the Three Gorges Dam in China, the Stade de France, Vulcania in the Auvergne - was chosen for his eye on architecture. For a year he followed the rise of the Euralliance building in Lille, keeping a construction-site notebook of images that register the slow choreography of a building coming into being.
