Dust gathers four years of work by documentary photographer Patrick Wack in the central Asian region known as East Turkestan, officially the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China. Made before and after the region became the site of mass internment, the pictures follow a landscape of oil fields, new cities, tourism and surveillance, and the texts set what is visible against what the state has made invisible.
