One infant -- the artist's own son -- is paired with twenty-one pastries, each picture captioned with its subject's exact weight regardless of whether that subject is a baby or a cake. Treating a child and a dessert as equivalent, measurable objects, the deadpan captions strip both of sentiment, reducing them to the same flat unit of comparison.
