A boxed set of three volumes. The first residency of the programme brought together three photographers — Diana Lui, Alice Lévêque and Léa Patrix — in Toulouse in January and February. Résidence 1+2 is a photographic programme anchored in the city and European in ambition: each year it associates three photographers (one established and two under thirty, one of them from Toulouse), three European cities, and three forms of output — a set of volumes, a travelling exhibition and a film following the residency. Halfway between workshop and creative residency, its aim is to bring out the material and immaterial heritage of the city and the region through three concurrent bodies of work made on the spot: diasporas, memories, industries, know-how, ways of living, architecture.
