A first book, twelve years in the making. All the pictures were made in Margem Sul, the south bank of the Tagus opposite Lisbon: a humanistic, poetic, politically engaged and hallucinatory record of a territory with a strong industrial and postcolonial past — a beautiful land with many wounds. The book won the first edition of the Arte deste Século award.
