Accompanying a themed year, eleven writers and one photographer ask how it feels to live in Brandenburg and how the art of living well and meaningfully can succeed there. Some sharpen the eye for the land and let the known be discovered again, others describe how the region became their home, and in their literary and essayistic contributions they question the expected and explore the country away from the usual paths.
