Well-known images and a good deal of unpublished work by Dave Heath, with a text by Francesco Zanot placing him in the history of American photography, and an interview made by Michael Torosian in 1988, here translated into French for the first time. From the 1950s onwards Heath was among the first to put solitude on that scale into pictures.
