In September 2019 Armin Linke, building a new stage of his path, involved international scholars in a performative seminar that questioned the nature and the logic of archives, putting his own pictures in relation with the cataloguing systems of documentary holdings such as those of the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florence and of the Istituto Geografico Militare.

The notebook presents the reflections and the methodological coordinates that emerged there.
