Greci speaks of travel: he lives it and evokes it, and his pictures are images of real transfiguration — the becoming in which every living thing strains to reach its completed being.

In his way of telling such a movement there is nothing sought after, emphatic or wilful. The frames tell the nascent state of worlds and people, and at the same time show the suspension, the resistances, the ties that hold us back, so that we risk not so much dying as never truly having been born.
