The first appearance in Portuguese of this work by the French philosopher and art historian, which brings as generous confessions his thoughts on aperçues — a term recreated in the translation. It is a phenomenology of those slivers of images of the world that appear before our eyes in a whirlwind of seen things: passing images, which connect and disconnect, coated with time and memory. The text is almost a dance, a choreography of movements, composed of twenty-nine fragments.
