What we see at a glance and what escapes us will never be recorded, or even memorised. Bruno Scharfstein is aware of this irreparable loss, but poetically he creates, with strokes of light, traces through which it may be possible to restore the threshold between the brilliance of a scene and its rapid dissipation.
