Family Journey is a work made of silent confidences brought to light in an erratic dialogue between Lucca and his mother, the visual artist Alessandra Bobba. Against all legibility and accuracy in the world, the dreamlike frames of hand-made cameras — freed from the commitment to display the certainties and the sharpness typical of the optics normally used — carry in this book the simple wish of a twelve-year-old boy: a journey with his family.
