These pictures convulse the temporalities of the fantastic. Symbols, sensitive matter, time, memory, the unconscious, vigils and architectures are undermined vertiginously, submerged by the photomagnetic and interstellar radiation of eclipse-images. Forms deform, conform, reform; they return.

Sonia Dias' pictures are writings of a distant light: they mark and heal, bounce back and return, intensify and, at last, eliminate all polarity between earthly events and the omnipresence of celestial vectors. Images that sometimes hover over worlds of imaginary realities and sometimes land in the firmament of immemorial landscapes.
