In his earlier work the artist made essays challenging the silent and static nature of the medium. Here he goes deeper, drawing a parallel between picture making and taxidermy, and leading us to well-crafted philosophical reflections on the pairs life and death, existence and resistance, archive and survival, still and life. Such reflections run through the reason for the existence of images, the fleeting beauty of birds, and ultimately ourselves.
