The author's first work is a manifesto-book in a bilingual edition. It is an excerpt from the two crises that erupted simultaneously in New York in 2020: the pandemic and the anti-racist protests. Asfixia is the definition of a diary from the epicentre or, as the preface has it, a book-report-poetry that takes us closer to the emotional experience which perhaps opens the paths to true abolition. The story is told in a chronological sequence of pictures and texts, sometimes taking the character of reportage.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is a digital platform dedicated to independent photobooks, photography publications, design books, and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
