The book brings together images from the personal and family archive of Luiza Baldan and from a local library, as well as a series of portraits and landscapes made since 2023 as part of a relational and community research project in Cova do Vapor, in Portugal. It is a rhizomatic book, composed from a polyphonic text written by the artist and branching out into records of a material and architectural memory in transformation, including portraits made for the project in places of significance chosen by the sitters themselves. The publication revisits situations and affective cartographies.
