The zine is based on pictures taken in a shanty town called Douar Chanti, which is also the author's home town. He strives to save the memory of these slowly disappearing settlements.

“My long-term project is about my home town. I aim to create a memory that can be shared by future generations, since the government will eventually turn the shanty towns into brick buildings, so it's important to tell the next generation about places, people and things that may not be around in the future.”
