A thousand frames recount Italy and its history. Images of different provenance, belonging to different genres and epochs: a heterogeneous reality, hard to organise, which the two curators divided into five sections — Landscapes, Work, Rituals, Portraits, Stories — to reconstruct, with an anthropological and historical cut at once, the story of a country.
