To recount the practitioners who made Modena a city of the medium, through a route of more than seventy images from important historic local collections.

This is the aim of the volume, made with the Museo Civico d'Arte of Modena, which sets out how in that city the practice, across more than a hundred and seventy years of life, has always been carried on at the highest level.
